About
Olive Branch Seva Scholarship
In its second year, the Olive Branch Seva Scholarship expanded its reach across Pokhara, drawing applicants from beyond the church congregation for the first time. The award is given to one student whose commitment to community service is matched by a clear investment in their own education.
The scholarship is paid directly to the recipient's institution — not to the individual — upon confirmed enrolment.
Sewa (सेवा) means selfless service. Olive Branch Church believes that a student who serves their community before being asked to is the student most likely to go on serving it with whatever education they receive.
